Coping with parking related anxiety !.

I'm sure its not just me that suffers from this, but how do all of you guys cope with the stress and anxiety of potential damage caused by the brain dead, " its only a van mate " brigade as they fling their car door against the side of you pride and joy because you cant find an end spot or cheeky singe spot somewhere.

I get really stressed when it comes to parking as soooo many people just don't give a t0ss about other peoples vehicle's.

Any tips you guys might have to help me deal with this would be greatly received !!.

Cheers/
I ended up selling my 18 month old T6 recently, mostly because of what you're saying.
I got sick and fed up of picking up dings, scratches and full on dents, I used to spend all day at work worrying about where I'd left it. I spent £500 getting it all sorted out before I sold it, it looked lovely! Just didn't seem worth doing while I had it, maybe it was just an unlucky van for me that attracted mindless muppets. Hopefully the new owner will have more luck than I did.

Now I've got a 5 year old Sprinter with 147000 miles on the clock and every panel has dents and is a different shade to the one next to it, I love it!
I can park it wherever I like and don't give a hoot!
