correct offset for 18”

I've gone for 9.5 ET35 all round on mine (19" Judd T311Rs), and I have to say that the fronts are only marginally within the arch. The side wall probably projects by 1 or 2 mm but the year is within. Any lower than ET35 and is have had problems, but based on this I guess you ought to be OK with 40s.

Well that's the end of that! The manufacturer has confirmed that the wheels are only load rated to 815kg

I had ET 35 all round on a 8.5/9.5 255/45/18 and it was perfect. I had concave in the back. Depends how wide they are.

I ordered some wheels last week. They come with a 45 offset so i'll see how they look and maybe get some spacers to bring them out further if needed.

I have got a set of 7.5 x 18" wheels with a 33mm offset and going to run 235/50x18 tyres.
Would they stick out to far or do you think they will be ok.

Also, are those wheels load rated? The appear to be multi fitment. I don't think I've ever seen any multi fitment load rated wheels as the extra set of bolt holes take strength out of them. Perfectly fine on a car, but not with a potential of 3000kg on top of them.

The ones I am getting only have the five bolt holes not the Multi fit.

Thats pretty much OEM and leaves the wheels well into the arch. People add 15 or 20mm spaces to get a better look. That makes the et effectively 30 - 35

i got the 20 inch q7 wheels on mine with 2754520, i have no idea off my offset but they do stick out a bit

yes your right spacers do push 15/20 i had them on my t5 with 18s

The face of these wheels will be around 25/30mm inside the wheelarch when measured from the top of the wheelarch. (the arches widest point).

when you will go down it will gain cca 4mm more , so it will be like offset cca 37, something like that
