Hi all, I’ve recently noticed this on the rear wheel arch. There’s no sign of perforation and it looks like it’s bubbling up from behind. Is this likely to be covered under warranty. It’s a 16 plate. It’s just over three years, but I believe there’s a 12 year warranty?

Have you owned it from new. Looks like a poor repair.

Looks to me like it could be from a previous repair, maybe before you owned it?

That's been repaired previously unfortunately. You can see the profile of the rolled edge of the arch on the right side of picture 3 isn't the constant radius fold on the left of the picture, likewise the swage line of the panel to the arch about 40% in from the left of the picture isn't the same as the rest, it's been sanded too much and they've lost the edge... Bummer.

Get one of the £10 paint thickness gauges from ebay and see what shows up.
