Definitely or definitely not!

What do you want?

Lots of things that say no to me on that list - but that's why my van spec differs from that! Because I hunted for what I wanted (waited for a factory order in reality!)

Thanks for the reply, I know what you mean, if it ticks all my boxes, then it's good. What do you think of the price?

How many 199’s were built v how many are problematic? You only hear of the ones that go wrong.
Could be less than 5%??
My mate has a 2010 180 bi-turbo. Ok it had a EGR valve done at 80k miles but is now on 200k miles and still pulling like a train.
Pays ya money, takes y chance as they say!

Personally I’d go for it if it ticks your boxes :thumbsup:

Bi turbo wouldn’t bother me, that looks very close in spec to my van so to me that looks like a great van, only you can decide on price !
The van market has fallen on its ass this year and second hand prices seem to have tumbled quite a bit but new prices haven’t so there’s going to be a fair bit of depreciation over years 1-5 so just decide where you sit on that scale and if you are happy with it

If you like the van and are happy with the price then go for it

Thought the 199 were better than the 204

And the 180 ....no thanks all in the same boat for me .
Buy a 150 instead .

Funny this, Since 2007 We've had on the fleet 2 No. T5's then a T5.1 and currently a T6 and now I'm in a T6.1

All 5 of them are/were the BiTDI versions in various flavours

There have been NO catastrophic issues with any of them. Yes, the usual niggles as with all vehicles. But, we maintain them very well (probably more frequently than VW recommend)

Sounds nice. AFAIK there's no issues with the post 2019 bi turbos.

Little pricey though for a 2020. I'd expect more like 28 + vat.

"He who waits is lost"
Couldn't make my mind up, so it's gone. Not sure I am 100% committed to being in the Transporter club. Thanks for taking the time to look and reply to post.

I was dubious but the Mrs had watched too many Instagram videos.
Transit - out to steal copper
Vivaro - dodgy builder
Vito - airport taxi

The Transporter is the only van that can pull off being cool in my fickle opinion, that’s acceptable as a family vehicle.

But they are incredibly expensive. I’ve just bought a poverty spec panel van, and it was still £18k…

Yes I noticed the prices. My daily driver is a Caddy, it's my 2nd one. So the transporter would be my daily driver too, got 4 dogs. Decisions, decisions.
