you could put a cheap 12v relay in the -ve on the VSR, fed from the leisure battery charger. You'll probably need a diode to stop back feed from the leisure battery. This would open the -ve line from the VSR when the leisure battery charger is connected. This would prevent the VSR from closing, effectively isolating the 2 batteries from each other. Costs no more than a tenner.
