We have got a bog standard van

I'm considering fitting a dashcam and for reasons i have the little storage bin on the roof lining out

Is there a switched live in the bundle of wires behind it or do i need to find a switched live and run a feed up there?

Morning. I've got a dashcam to fit to my 2016 t6 rearview mirror. Is there a suitable power supply in the courtesy light. I don't want trailing cable and lighter socket plug in thing. TIA.

It's super easy to take the passenger A pillar trim off. Also pull the air vents from around the stereo, passenger side and the glove box bin. You can then route the cable from mirror to radio. piggy backed the stereo for earth, switched live and permanent live. Or as mentioned, go down to the centre dash fuse box as mentioned.
