DC charger and leisure battery distance

Can I use a distance of 1.82m (6 feet) 16mm2 cabling between a Victron 30a DC charger and a lifep04 leisure battery without issues or must it be a shorter distance between the two. (I know it should be as close as possible but not sure if their is a maximum distance?).

In theory, distance shouldn’t be an issue as long as the cabling is sized correctly. Will 16mm2 cable fit the terminals in the Orion?

If it's the Orion manual says you should be good with slightly lower guage 10mm2 though it is rated for 16mm2

Yes, 16mm2 is the recommended maximum size
