Deactivating front parking sensors?

Been toying with the idea of fitting an A bar on the front. Problem is I have parking sensors and and just wondering if you can deactivate maybe just the two centre ones that would possibly be covered by the bar?

A lot of kangaroos in your part of Suffolk then? Dangerous things to put on the front of a vehicle imho.

Why cause more damage to someone if it should happen that someone is hit than if you had not fitted it? Modern vehicles have been designed with this in mind and you want to negate all the safety testing? Not so much each to his own more being responsible or not.

I have fitted light bar for additional high beams and blocked the middle 2 front parking sensors. There’s stickers you can use to block individual sensors, at least 3M part 888460 is one such example.

I have no idea where to source from though, mine were some nonbranded ones from a Finnish webshop.

Thank you. Much appreciated

I’ve also been toying with the idea of relocating the two middle sensors to make them functional again despite of the light bar. Perhaps near upper corners of the reg plate holder. Haven’t tested the feasibilty yet

Please let me know how you get on with that.

Don’t hold your breath, for the time being stickers do the trick and there’s more important stuff to be done… koni shocks incoming…
