Dealer Discount & Price Query

It’s big and white! Looks great, ideal base for a camper. The salesman said they had a fair few pre reg ones from March as the outgoing manager had ordered a lot of stock. Will get mine on 1st June too, fortunately the dealership is a 5 minute walk from work

They're driving up to my house in Yorkshire which is a bonus, from what they said to me the 'outgoing' manager ordered a number of vehicles as petrol rather than diesel in error........if so he did me a favour and I managed a further discount so all's good.

That’s a phenomenal deal! I’m NHS employed sadly and can’t see any deals. Also, is it likely one dealer will give a better discount than another? You can tell I don’t have much experience at this!

My very recent experience buying my wife a new car, and looking at the NHS discount (Midwife) was pathetic. My dealer Sytner offered me as a repeat customer (7 cars from the same Sytner) a much better discount. I think NHS was 3% and they got me 10% on a brand new Mini Cooper.
It looks more like some dealers are offering discounts directed at NHS, Police etc, just to entice you to buy from them, when in reality you can negotiate a better discount as a member of the public.
