Haven’t tried one but I do like the stuff from decathlon. At that price, it’s hard to go wrong

My thoughts exactly. We have a swanky Vango one but this looks nice and compact for those shorter trips.

And if anyone did a tailgate awning that's compatible with the VW bike rack they'd definitely get my money!

The picture is the same but the text says it fits a VW Caddy.

Maybe height? One is Caddy and one is Transporter

I think you are right, I have just seen that it is lower.

i have this awning and it is great particularly in warmer weather. its designed to fit the tailgate without a spoiler so doesnt fit as neat as it could over the spoiler. its held on primarilly with magnets and 2 of these are out of positon at the spoiler. we use 2 awning poles to support the tailgate as the more you tighten the guy ropes, the more it pulls the tailgate down. the big downside is you have to remove it in its entirety when you go fom the campsite however it does cover anything left in it when you go
