Discovery media - Update Unable to Complete

Hi,

My 2019 Caravelle seems to be stuck in a loop trying to update the software.
The above results in the head unit resetting itself (usually) 3 times every time you start the van.
The head unit powers off for around 10 seconds, then reboots, then thinks about connecting (or not) to Andriod Auto.

Is there anyway to complete the software update? Or, delete the update and stay on which ever version it's currently on?

I've tried connecting to my phone as a hotspot to no avail... :-(

Depends on software variant. It may need connecting to a bench setup to force the update on

Did you download the update file direct from VW?

Yes mate. Found an option to download the software onto a stick. Still took about 1.5 hours to update though.

Think I've found it via the VW site.
I have a lovely 2 hour drive to Anglesey this afternoon which should provide ample time to update.

Do you know if the system unit is still functional whilst updating?

My mates still worked albeit with the older maps
