Dislodged wire behind scuttle panel? How worried should I be?

Been messing around behind the scuttle panel (different topic) and unintentionally dislodged this wire. How worried should I be??

It’s common for windscreen fitters to discard old ones in the scuttle panel. Is it connected at the other end?

Yes it appears to be connected. Tried switching on the van and the heated windscreen and all seems to work OK. Maybe I’ve got away with it?

@Deaky was correct - I've not got away with this at all as I found out to my disappointment as the cold weather hit over the last few days.

Am I right in suspecting that this is not something that I can fix myself and needs a trip to the local Autoglass (or similar) to re-connect it or replace the connector (rather than the whole windscreen).
