I’m Alan and I manage Crafted Automotive Ltd along side my good friend Gully

I’m sure some of you will have seen and heard bits about who we are and what we do so I figured I should do a introduction of sorts

We are a Cleckheaton based company who specialises in the maintenance repair and customisation of all motor vehicles.our current focus has been on the RS AMG and M Performance motors and a hand full of supercars that we look after this is main reason you won’t find much about us on social media and similar platforms

As a company we pride our self’s on delivering a high quality of work at what we believe to be a fair value and strive to provide our customers with best possible customer service we can

with regular updates of our findings so you can track our progress while we work on your given projects you will receive regular photos videos and even calls from my self or our staff

As enthusiasts our selfs we understand and appreciate personal value and excitement that comes with owning these types of vehicles

I my self have spent over 20 years working within the motor trade with 10 of those years focused around the the t1 to t6 transports and be caddy vans my other 10 years was spent building pendix race car body’s and restoring classic cars and camper vans I will add some pics and vids over the next few days once have managed to sift over the past 2 decades of pictures and videos

So after a recent enquiry from @Texxaco about the possibility of me undertaking a completely custom front bumper build for his van Floyd after a massive recommendation from @Dav-Tec this is the out come after a full discussion of spec and the look he was after I know this will not be to everybody’s taste but I think it came out amazingly

It was a long six weeks wait but well and truly worth it. A work of art from Allan @ Crafted Automotive.

When I first saw the work Allan has done I was lost for words, so much so I think Allan thought I didn’t like it. Couldn’t be further from the truth, I am still blown away after having my van back for two days, it’s not sunk in yet.

Allan is a magician with plastic and paint hence I would’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs his skillset.

IMO, the most impressive thing is the average Joe won't even clock that bumper isn't factory. They'll notice it's a very nice looking front end but won't be able to put their finger on why. But those of us 'in the know' will appreciate that it's a very well executed and tasteful one-off. OEM+++

Thanks @Jimbob76 it was all Allan’s doing. All I did was purchase the bumper and associated parts.

I am hoping I don’t get any stone chips before it’s PPF’d.

The bumper I mentioned for the rear won’t work it’s too deep on the grilles I have had one at the shop today but I’m looking to see what other profiles can be utilised

That’s shame as it would have looked OEM. No doubt another option which is just as good will present itself soon enough.

I got a couple of ideas but let me confirm they will work first before getting you excited

So I know a couple of people have asked how the 2 bumpers a joined they are plastic welded from both front and rear and the the shape is finalised with a small amount of plastic body filler
