DIY Curtains/Blinds - Which Fabric and Magnets?

Wondering whether anyone has come across any basic interior blinds that attach with magnets? I really don't like the rubber suckers and don't want a permanent installation like curtains or shades, so magnets seem perfect but the only ones I've seen are crazy money (hundreds) for what is basically the same as suckers but with magnets instead.

Which does give me a brain wave... I'm off to Google sucker blinds and research installing magnets!

I’ve made my own, but didn’t end up needing the neodymium magnets I bought, as the middle blinds hook over my VGC window runners and the rear squeezes in to place within the window aperture.

The fronts are magnetic, mind, but bought from someone off here.

I’m about to attempt to make a blind for this rear quarter window. It’s probably not a standard size as it’s got the TrimTech trim panel surrounding it (aperture measures 790mm x 495mm / 3ft x 2ft / 31” x 19”). Unless anyone can see another way, I guess I'm going to have to attach it to the window with suckers?

In answer to my own query, I managed to avoid using suckers.

I bought some of this to use on the floor of my last van, then went a different route.

So I cut it to fit the window shape, and when put in place it stays without any magnets or suckers. Its total blackout and insulation. I put it gold side out and covered the inside with some leftover carpet lining.

Unfortunately it does not fit in my current van. The cut out for the windows are larger so I will need to make new ones.
