Does this roller look ok?

Hard to tell without taking it out. If the door is stiff or you can hear is grinding, for the sake of just over £20 just replace i would.

As above, impossible to tell. That little white wheel you can see at the rear with the orange rust circle around it carries the weight of the door and has a sealed bearing in it. That bearing is the issue.
Just put a new bottom arm on it’ll save you the hassle of the door getting stuck if the current bearing collapses as mine did.

The door is now really stiff to open and close and it looks like the bearing doesn’t roll

I’ve ordered a genuine part any an ridiculous price of £180 lol

Is it easy to fit the whole arm etc?

Jack the door and remove and replace guys?

Cheers

It's easy enough to DIY it, I've done both of mine at home but didn't use genuine parts, they've lasted several years;
This video refers to a T5 but it's exactly the same;

Cheers Dave, picked up the part from tps tonight.

I’ll fit it when the weather decides no to piss down!

But serious how can that arm and a ball bag be £180

£180 wow!

Looks like more than what that guy has in his video?

Looks like this actually bolts onto the door itself?

I didn’t really need all of that did I?
Yeah that's the main roller mechanism. You can't buy just the rollers on their own. Mine when a while back, easy fix once you have done it once! My ball bearing was shagged!

What I ment was I only wanted the arm with the rollers… this has the extra part that bolts to the door aswell all as one unit which I probably didn’t need to fit but it’s all tps had

Most parts to buy are these. But mine I’ve bought had the other end aswell which bolts to the actual door aswell. Which is a bit overkill surely

AHH yes, you're right. You don't need the L shaped bit. Top tip, when replacing the other bit, either mark around the nuts or don't clean around then so you can put it back in exactly the same place.

Oh and you can buy decent aftermarket ones of these for about £30. They need replacing every few years.

Well just paid £180 from tps so I’m well chuffed now knowing I’m gonna sling the shape bit in the bin!

Actually f*** that I’m gonna fit the lot just so it doesn’t pi** me of as much
