And thats why premiums are going up, cars are so expensive to fix these days.

Love to know what a door costs so I could work out labour charge as that seems far too expensive.

If you were paying for this out of your own pocket, the panel would be repaired and painted for under 500 quid. My lad dinged a hire van and was presented with a bill for a grand....damage was miniscule but they ramped up the paint charges to over 500 notes. Fortunately he had taken out the waiver and was omly out of pocket for a few hundred.
