Dometic CRE80 Fridge Issue

Hi everyone. Currently having a major issue with my Dometic CRE80 fridge. Has been working perfectly the last few months and then suddenly stopped working.

The number of flashes is currently 4 - the manual suggests that the fault is 'Speed too low' and says the possible cause is 'If the cooling system is overloaded, the minimum speed of the motor of 1850 rpm cannot be maintained.'

If anyone has any ideas of how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated! Got a trip this weekend!!

Welcome to the forum.

If you look around the various threads on fridges a common issue with 12v compressor fridges is power supply - the compressor motors need quite a surge of current to start and so are very sensitive to wiring quality and battery health.

I'd start by making sure your battery is in good health and well charged and double check the wiring between it and the fridge is sound.
