New hinge

Other small issue I have is that since fitting the additional seals the door sometimes doesn’t shut straight away I have to open and shut it again

Hi all
Snapped door hinge stop when wind caught the door. Does anyone have a spare for sale or know where I could source one from please. It is for my T6 passenger door, lower hinge. Have added a pic. Be very grateful for any help.
Thankyou in advance

I can’t say I’ve ever seen one advertised on here, but you could try
Kernow Transporters,
North West Transporter Parts,
or VW themselves

Latest: Got lower door hinge, sprayed up and ready to fit......What size are the torx bolts ( or are they spline?) that i need to remove on the old broken hinge please? Thats the top part of the bottom hinge that fits on to door, see pic above on first post.
TIA

Funny that this thread has been bumped today as this is exactly what I’m about to go through as my lower hinge has snapped at the black stopper part.

Groan…

Hi All,
the roller part of my driver door hinge has stopped rolling - see image - any one any experience with freeing a seized hinge roller, is this part replaceable on its own or does the whole hinge need changing.
Any info appreciated. Cheers

Pop the top cap off and drop some oil in there - let the gravity work. When it it is free again put proper grease in there.

And while you are oiling and freeing off the roller let a drop of oil run down the vertical spring bar where it is held in the hinge assembly to ensure that it doesn't seize up like the one in the start of this thread.
