2016 Transporter Shuttle 150PS CXFA engine.

Looking like I may need to replace the DPF. At 280,000 miles on the original I cant really complain. I want to get another year out of the car.

My question is who would you recommend to purchase one from. TPS have quoted £1700+VAT with a three week back order but wondering what other suppliers would the forum recommend?

Thanks

Haha, yeah great reference. In the last 4 years, new turbo, DSG gearbox, EGR Cooler. Only other major headache was it refusing to cold start and replaced HP fuel pump and 2 injectors and it turned out the timing belt was out by a tooth. Had its since it was 2 years old and 22,000 miles.

My son bought a non VW van to go to Scotland with his mates. He didn't really do his homework and was lied to by the seller and upon returning home the bank of Mum and Dad helped him out by buying the van. It was smoking and I was advised to go to DTM Fuel Specialists. I had taken it to the main dealer previously and they wanted 10k for a new engine. DTM quickly ascertained it had been mapped and the aftermarket DPF was bypassed. They got a local firm to remove the map and reinstate the original and then supplied and tested the DPF. Service was no nonsense and they did a great job.
