Driver & Passenger Seat - Adding Second Battery (in parallel)

Hi

I’m in the process of replacing my twin passenger seat with a single (and awaiting Audi Q8 seats to go in) .

While I’m at this stage I bought a single passenger seat base with a battery tray to have in mind a second leisure battery and to (eventually daisy chain between with the one under the drivers seat.)

My questions :)

1) What type of cable should I look to run between the two bases (appreciate a link to it online)

And

2) I understand there is no ignition live under the passenger seat, is that correct ? If so, while I’m here i guess it would make sense to run a 12v cable from the centre fuse board so i at least have it there should i ever need it?

Finally - is there anything else i should consider at this stage ?

Sorry @oldiebut goodie - that was what I meant - not up to speed with the lingo - have updated the title

For now I’m just doing the ground work to get as much as I can in place, I’ve not got the batteries yet as I expect it will require two identical batteries etc.

All that’s to come, just want to be sure I have what I need.

Hi all, please could someone help me understand what size (thickness) of cable I should use to connect the two batteries together under both seat?

I’m not at the point yet to connect things up, but as I have the floor up I want to ensure the cable is there ready to go.
