Why does my drivers door sensor say the door is open when it is closed? just started for no reason. will not lock with fob... will lock with key but only drivers door .... will unlock with fob

Cause your driver door locking mechanism sensor has failed (most likely mechanically).


The whole unit is not so expensive so replacement would be probably the easiest way forward.

By the way, I am shocked.
