It's tedious but straightforward.

Start here to understand how the pull handle works -

Steps are:

1. Get the replacement part - in this case its probably going to be the whole lock actuator - and something to hold the window glass up whilst its disconnected from the mechanism
2. Wind the window down now because you'll need it down for the next part
3. Remove the door card, unplugging stuff etc as you go -
4. Move from the inside side of the door to the outside and finish unplugging stuff through the window
5. Unhook the door handle from the bowden cable that goes to the lock
6. Remove the 2 hard plastic bungs in the middle of the door panel -
7. Refit the window switch and adjust the window so that you can see the bolts through the holes
8. Back out the bolts until the glass is loose enough to lift and slide up the door frame. Don't drop your 10mm socket into the door as you need it again in a minute
9. Support the disconnected glass - I used 2 of these, one at the level where the bolts were loosened and one after I slid the glass up the frame and out of the winder mechanism

10. With the glass out of the way undo all of the 10mm bolts with the socket you didn't drop, or another one, if like me you did drop it.
11. Pop the long oval rubber bung off the edge of the door and back out the bolt you can see - whilst pulling on the outer door handle. Keep testing on the bit with the key hole as that should lift off - stop backing out the bolt at this point -
12. Normally you'd now pop out the little cable from the outer handle and slide the outer handle off the door (might also be another screw to undo here)
13. Undo the two big torx bolts holding the lock mechanism in place
14. Gingerly manipulate the big silver panel in the door and lift it out complete with the door lock. The lock may flop about unexpectedly, manipulate the rod for the lock button out carefully
15. Drill out the rivets holding the lock to the silver panel
16. Disconnect the inside handle bowden cable and the lock button rod from the old lock mechanism
17. Fling old lock into spare parts pile

Repeat in reverse order to fit new lock. You can use a cable tie instead of rivets as the lock only needs support until its back in the door and you can get the bolts into it.
