DSG oil change not part of service plan

Just booked my T6.1 in with VW Van dealer for a ~40k service triggered by a notification on the dash. The vehicle came with a service plan from the previous owner which expires next year.
Based on the mileage, the dealer recommended the 40k DSG oil change at £300 at the same time but said it was not part of the service plan. Something doesnt seem right - either the plan should cover it, or I don't nee the oil change yet.
Any ideas?

Needs doing or it will null any warranty gearbox related.

All in only really covers engine oils, filters etc. Anything over and above is chargeable in my experience. They wanted to charge for my dsg service.

can confirm you do absolutely need to do it at 40k, and that it's not covered. lots of things that are needed aren't covered by the service plan...

As above- dsg needs doing at 40k and it’s not covered by the service plan
