I always wondered what the chances were of a lithium LB going bang while on EHU. The EV’s are a good advert for the 5th next moth.

I paid £300 a week ago for same battery.

John.
My sadly now deceased father in law took a top quality £30 mobile phone back to Tesco for a refund a day before the returns window closed because they dropped the price by a fiver! He'd spent hours and hours putting all his contacts in it, but a fiver is a fiver he said! Born and bred Black Country bloke! RIP YamYam. Take it back for a refund John, YamYam would be proud!!

I’ve already fitted it Wayne and now I’m redesigning where it’s going I’ve made a box which will hold it with extra storage compartment so it’s been in and out of my van a few times, and has my battery monitor velcroed to it so it will have some marks on it.

So you’re happy with the purchase then? I’ve been looking for a while and this just seems to cheap!

What is the battery monitor you bought too?

Truth be told this is actually going in my caravan replacing the lead acid battery.

That is cheap.

Just be aware they don't have low temperature charging cut off (and no heater, but for this price you wouldn't expect one) so you'll need some form of temperature monitoring and charging cut off from your DC-DC and/or
What would you recommend for low temp charging cut off if using a Victron Orion DCDC?

I imagine you are correct here (chinese advertising) but did want to flag there documentation does actually state they have a temp cut off in the battery BMS. But it deffo doesnt have a heater!

Interesting. Seems as clear as mud on the spec's as you'd think it'd list 'low temperature' under the BMS Protection.

The temp cut of is for over temperature not low temp. D C Guy did a tear down for utube which is very interesting.

Yeah the only low temp protection I can see in the specs is the "-7c +/- 5c" which is useless when it comes to preventing charging below freezing.
