EGR Error codes P023B and P24A9 [Resolved]

Hi, can any one help?
I have a P023B charge air cooler pump control circuit low and
P24A9 EGR cooler coolant control circuit low flow.
it seems to have appeared a couple of weeks after the cam belt was changed and the coolant was topped up.
Any ideas please.
cheers,
pete

I think there's a typo (see above). I think that both faults actually are no power to the pumps - short to ground. What's in the freeze frame data? Are the faults currently active, or just a thing from the past - intermittent (possibly plug disconnected when serviced). A fuse?
Can you post full scan please.

Hi MMi,
I have refitted a few plugs today and reset the error codes.
when the fault returns I will get a friend to see if he can do a full scan.
My code reader is very basic !
Thank you for your response.
Best Regards,
Pete.

Hi mmI , I found this 10 amp fuse had blown. I have replaced it and so far so good !
could this have been blown when the cam belt was changed ?
cheers,

That's good news
I can't see connection between cam belt change and blown fuse. Perhaps keep on monitoring the pumps (fault codes) - in case one of them is failing (and thus blowing the fuse??)

Is there any information on the location of the Pumps ? I have been struggling to find any info on the coolant system.

What engine you have - the code from configuration sticker (under dash) would be helpful?

@Peter Rhymes
Hi peter i have had the same error codes come up on mine i was just wondering how you got on with this it has also blown the same fuse and a replacement fuse as well also code Exhaust Gas Recirculation System P2457 i don't know if you had this code any advice would be appreciated on how you got on

thanks Howard

Hi Shaw, since I replaced the blown fuse it has been fine. I’m not really sure why the fuse had blown. My latest problem is the Air Con needs to be regassed after only one year ! Good Luck with your fault finding.

Depends on what engine you have - for CXxx- series -

Have you checked the fuse?
