Thats a great idea, thank you! I will get one ordered, I hate that we have to think this way and we cant trust people. You are totally right!You absolutely should. Forewarned is forearmed. Get the fault codes and record them then take it back to the dealer. Keep it to yourself that you have the fault codes then you can determine if the dealer is just trying to fob you off or are being genuine once they take a look.
Those texts you posted have set the alarm bells off for me with them saying 'dont stress' like it's nothing to worry about without them running any diag first to determine if it's serious or not. Good luck.
