If anyone is on the market to get a exhaust system fitted on their van, look no further than EMP Performance!
I had my first exhaust system fitted by a company who done the worse job you can ever think of. The van was extremely loud, the DSG farts could be heard from 2 streets away! As i live in a close residence i had to get the factory mid silencer put back in. Doing that it removed the dsg farts and pops, after 2 years, I took the leap and drove to EMP Performance. I had 2 exhaust leaks which i didnt know of! I only found out when the van went on to EMP Performance’s ramp and saw the state of the exhaust. Really Bad welding and poor pipe work was the cause of this.
Simon at EMP highlighted the importance and vital aspects of a exhaust system. He does exhaust systems day in day out, he showed what a good exhaust exhaust system should look like.
I went to EMP to replace the factory silencer for a Hi flow silencer to release some of the EA888 2.0tsi noise. It definitely made a difference, you can hear the DSG farts and a much deeper tone but not too loud.
I took some pics of the leaks and the current system etc
The van is going to be booked in for a full custom exhaust system from the mid silencer onwards again. Once the new system is fitted ill post images for reference
