Factory electric folding mirrors....

You should be able to do all that in reverse too.
Really? I did note that there was a ‘convenience ‘ setting on the sunroof.
I’ll try this out soon. Vans’ at the converters at the mo for a bit of work. So I’ve not really had time to check it all out. Ta for that info Tourershine.

I'm sure you'll find TS meant you should be able to from factory because you can't actually open the mirrors from a fob without an aftermarket modification. The tailgate should also be on the fob from factory but isn't.

I meant you can drop the windows, and I'm sure open the sunroof by holding down your unlock button.

But you can't reverse the mirrors on the fob??? So saying you should be able to reverse them all isn't correct. Had you said just the 2 I'd have agreed.

Something else you haven't mentioned is if you press the lock button on the fob 3 times it will deflate your tyres allowing it to be parked in garages. Pressing the fob unlock 3 times will reinflate the tyres to drive away.

Anyone figured out how to dip the mirrors when you engage reverse, there is an option on Carista to do this for a Skoda Kodiac.

I don’t have electric mirrors, but I thought this might excite those who are obsessed with folding mirrors.

Is there a way of checking if I have folding mirrors fitted. The switch I have fitted doesn’t have the folding mirror icon but I have been told they still have the motor fitted. My is an 18 plate Caravelle exc.

if its setup for comfort closing . . . then pressing and holding (about 5 seconds) the lock button on they keyfob should tilt them up. (when you lock the van)

or you could use VCDS to check the sub modules to see if they are fitted.

This is not true. VW are not going to fit powerfold mirrors if you haven’t spec’d them.

Bought it as an ex demo, so I guess it’s a missed opportunity. Anyone used the travellin lite ones

I have factory fold mirrors on mine but i installed the travellin lite module that allows fold on locking/unlocking.

They do a full folding mirror kit which includes all you need to install them from scratch. travellin lite stuff is usual good quality
