I have recently bought a 2018 T6, 150 DSG with just over 29k on the clock. About three months ago the engine coolant light came on and coolant levels were low. I topped the levels back up and no more than a 390 miles and one month later the coolant levels are low again. There is no apparent leak that I can see in engine bay or under the vehicle. I only seem to love loosing water the more I drive. I have read in other threads I could be loosing coolant into the EGR cooler.
However this morning my engine management light has come on and my OBD11 code reader is showing an error code of P16C7. There doesn’t appear to be much information online about this code and not sure if this could be linked to loosing coolant or just another problem I need to get fixed?
Has anyone else had this fault code? if so, do you know what the cause was.
