Feedback Wanted on New Bed/Kitchen/Storage System.

I am looking for some feedback on a bed/kitchen/storage system that I primarily designed for me & my family's own needs.
But after getting an unexpectedly positive response from other campers on our travels last year I am getting pressure from the family to put this into limited production which I have the means to do, as I am a self employed Cabinetmaker, Furniture Designer & Restorer.

I have poured an eye watering level of time, money and R&D into getting this to function properly and basically it allows you to take any empty SWB T5-T6.1 and quickly convert it into a fully functioning camper and then convert it back to an empty van again once you are done with your travels.

I have put together a demo video which can be viewed here: VanLife Module

I have updated my business website with the Modules full specification's and you can learn a bit more about me here: S G Stuart Cabinetmakers

And a link to my original build story: My First Build

Any feedback appreciated folks, but as ever with Any van conversion there are a million pros & cons with any of the systems available out there and mine is no different, as no one thing works for everyone.

I'm a big fan of this Stevie. If or when I get a van, I will be making contact. That's the best feedback I can give you.
A totally removable system with no electrics needed is perfect for us.
Good luck with your venture.

Thanks @Sackmycook, as it stands I have no plans to put this into serious large scale production as frankly I just cant spare the time & effort required I am that busy with my other clients needs & demands ! I would treat the module in the same way as all my other work making it a bespoke item that's made to order, but sadly this pushes the cost up.
But having said that if it turns out there is significant interest/demand in my design I have the means to get my drawings converted to a CNC package and go down that route, but I would prefer to keep that at arms length and stick to the personal touch.

@Kind of Blue Thanks for that your too kind..... :)

If I didn't already have a Slidepod, this would be my choice. It looks a lot better, especially the portable loo and the storage facilities are a lot better.
What is the price range for this?
thanks.

@Nickdaw when I first started looking into different bed systems nearly 2 yrs ago I came within a couple of mouse clicks to buying a Slidepod but I felt the storage options were deeply inefficient for our needs and it would have pushed my crippling OCD into the abyss making me impossible to travel with !

I am not going to lie these will be fairly expensive as I am not in a position to be buying materials by the container load, and these are hand built to order and finished to furniture grade standards all edges have either a 1 or 2mm radius and are sanded to 240g and finished with Osmo, the 3 pairs of runners alone cost the same as some entire bed systems !
But I am supplying them as a complete ready use module, the only thing the client needs to supply is a Powerstation to suit your needs, bedding & kitchen equipment.

If anyone is interested in a quotation for a module its best to send me an email to: [email protected] you can send me a message on here if you wish but its just easier for me to keep track of emails.

Yep, I totally agree that the storage is sh1t with the slide pod. I will have a discussion with my better half and see where we go from there.
