Feeling annoyed.

I spend so time planning where to park in supermarket car parks so some idiot can not park next me and dint the side of the van, so today I spot the perfect place on the end of line with a lamppost between me and the next space so happy days. That was until I got out and opened the side loading door and slid it straight back in the post that I planned on protecting me. Not happy at all.

Ouch i feel your pain mate, already paid to have a large door dent removed only to get another one a couple days after and now i find some has keyed the back quarter panel, thankfully its only a couple inches long but the rage is still consuming me .....

Ouch!!!!! That's not good and there are some real scum out there.

All the wife has said is thank god that I did it not her or the kids or they would never live it down lol.

Looks like I am ordering a touch up pen.

Feel for you both. I noticed a small dint in my bonnet..... Think it's from me shutting the bonnet after hooking up the electric lead for camping in France. That on top of the massive crack in my wondscreen.

This is my worst nightmare was taking about this the other day with the misses to her reply 'your van is never going to leave the drive!'
I just think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and expect the odd scrape and ding at the end off the day it's going to be a daily driver.

I get moaned at for driving like miss daisy when going country type roads (you know the ones where half the bushes stick out in the road because there is no pavement) and a car comes the other way. No way am I putting the van in an hedge to let someone pass.

me too on all the above , I've noticed a dent in my bonnet and I haven't even opened the bloody thing yet, so that was main dealer giving it that final push closed , why do they do that ,just let the bonnet drop.Im driving like Miss Daisy too! .Then yesterday I parked the van way out the of any cars in the local mal, lovely I thought,late in the day should be fine, shit the bed, when I return right next to me on the drivers side was a white rascal van, I couldn't believe it , he was that close he must have got out of the drivers window, Even my Mrs went WOT, this new van thing is doing my head in

It's have if they have a secret magnet fitted somewhere that attracts muppets and barely legal nails. Even if I parked next to a brand new shinny Bentley I guarantee when I returned 3 minutes later there would be a Lada Riva that has just returned from green laning parked next to me.

Also where is best place to get a touch up pen from please?

Just go to main dealer for a touch up pen. I paid £12 at main dealer. Yeah I just don't get it about the parking , I'm trying to find a s**t hot car dent repair specialist here in Devon, just so I can keep it dent free. I hope you don't keep casting your eye down the sides of your van, I do it all the time and my Mrs shouts out the window Stop that,I can't help it

Hi Pauly I tried most of last week during working hours but he didn't pick up. Maybe he's on holiday .I think about going down to vag body shop and asking if they could contact him or knew when he might be coming in to them. I might try Carrs van centre Exeter see if they can recommend anyone .

If I wasn't already having a bad week a stone flew up today from loose chipping and put a stone chip on the side loading door and then I was reversing up to a wall and didn't see a little stub post that somehow fell right between the sensors then BANG!!!!! To be honest I expected to see a caved in bumper but all there is, is a smallish dent so obviously the bumper has a decent flex but still I am now even more annoyed than I was when I started this thread.

Mines in the body shop having a number of scrapes sorted from a dumper truck who decided he needed my lane more than i did. And he was on his phone! But it was on a roundabout so it will go 50/50 the insurance have told me!

And this is where it gets really annoying.

They make all these laws which make sense if enforced but when they aren't they are useless. So all they really do is collect revenue from speed cameras that have questionable benefits to road safety.

We all know that if the police were at all interested they could have looked at the truck drivers phone and his taco and had an instant prosecution.
