I'm looking into having a Fiamma F45S fitted. I currently have a poptop roof already fitted, I think a different type of fitment rail may need to be used for this so need that as well.

I was wondering what the going rate is for this to be supplied and fitted alongside the rail needed as well?

I'm always fearful of being ripped off so thought I'd get the general consensus.

I looked at the F45S.

It's up to you of course, but the F43van is only 10cm shorter at full extension, has composite case ends that wont corrode, and uses Fiamma's lovely magnetic attachment for the crank handle instead of the PITA hook arrangement.

The 43van was about £750 fitted at a very reputable converter with proper aftersales backup and warranty, I can't see the 45s being much different if you went for it.

I had my fiamma F45s before my poptop.
When they fitted the poptop, the rearmost bracket on the F45s had to be moved forward.
Same brackets, different position
