Fiamma f45s wind out awning

I’m looking into the possibility of buying a fiamma f45s and wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction if you can make this into a fully enclosed awning and where to get one from.

Fiamma F45s Owners - Additional Sun Shade?

I've added the light privacy room to my F45s, but in the sun last weekend it would have been lovely to have had a bit of outside shade. This could be achieve by inserting a tarp in to the upper channel on the front of the extended awning. Has anyone bought/used anything that does this? Any...

Does anyone else hear a rattle sound when driving from their fiamma f45s awning.... I'm positive mine is rattling. Supports clipped in. Am I right someone put some foam in and it sorted rattles?
 
Think they must be as won't unfold or fold back up if they are 'rotated' also a definite 'click' when back up in awning....
 
I'd check as I think you can get the click with the feet the wrong way round. The unit may not wind fully in if the feet are wrong.
 
Cool @Sackmycook I'll have a better look tomorrow! Need to do some adjustment on coilovers which may help as very stiff just now!
 
Mine rattles when fully wound in. It works perfectly and everything looks to be correct. Righty or not, as mines black mounted on a black roof rack, I pop black cable ties round round it on the three mounting points which appears to reduce the rattling.
 
Thanks @Aggers I have mine roof bar mounted as well. Could be the flex in between supports as I only have brackets at both extreme ends. Had wondered about cable ties for additional piece of mind as well!

Try searching the motorhome forums, seem to recall several discussions and various solutions.

mine rattled i put some thin foam around the feet at the bottom of the legs because their fitted loose for ground conditions they rattled
