Might be worth a post on the Ross-Tech forum. Maybe there is an adaptation setting to change the threshold that the rams decide to close.I don't have a bike rack and I am not familiar with any weight restrictions.
If you know your load (kg) I am happy to test it for you with default settings.
There are number of adjustable parameters in tailgate control module so possibly extra load could be taken in the account. I have to double check it for you.

I don’t know, he managed to get 3 wheels in one space this time. Getting better.Still same parking habits
Near disaster was on the horizon..
Split rim bolts had worked loose..
Managed to get alittle assistance from the awesome workshop manager at Listers Droitwich, to pinpoint the noise location.
Quick google search and 28Nm later rims are re torque.
They come off next week for some winter approved.. @MAT@VWT5UPGRADES

I'm not sure which one of our vans was the dirtiest when we did a fly past this morning.
Just can't see the overall benefit for me to change.I'm quite pleased the 6.1 is only a minor upgrade, it's gonna save me a shed load of cash and I'm not sure I can be bothered to go through the whole custom van process again anyway.
