Looking for suggestions on how to attach my U shaped seating/bed to the van. I've had a new 12mm ply, Altro covered floor fit.

Hi. Mine is bolted through the floor into the load points, but then it does have an internal metal frame - not familiar with yours. Looks just the job BTW.

How did you get on with fixing it all down, I’m trying to decide if I shouldd use 12 or 18 mm ply for extra fixing strength, is 12mm ok as it’s my preferred thickness

I have the Van Furniture u shape which is very similar. Currently fixed to the ply floor with L shaped metal brackets and wood screws. This was their recommended method by the way. Have also screwed the individual modules to each other but intend on getting some bolts and bolting them together in the near future. Mine is not fixed to the walls and would ideally like to do this but fixing points are limited.

Great, thanks, think I’ll be doing a similar installation to you, and probably use some of those joining bolts, with some washers that kitchen fitters use to bolt kitchen units together
