Hi does any know if this model steering wheel fits on a VW T6 trendline?

That looks to be the same airbag fitment as standard T6 airbag so i would say yes it will physically fit but not sure about button compatibility

I have this wheel and button config. on a Trendline and it works fine.
What have you done to make this work if i may ask? i have the same steering wheel and also fitted the airbag cable.. But my horn and buttons don't work.. Thank you

possibly you need the extra LIN bus wire to the BCM, and +12v fused power wire

Hi Romar, as Dellmassive has said it sounds like you need the additional wire as from memory the symptom of not having it is the horn not working. Have you updated the code to tell the computer there’s a MFSW? Loads of really good threads about all of this, good luck getting it sorted.

There’s 3 wires that need to be added.
They attach to the big grey harness at the base of the steering wheel.
One goes to the light switch for power.
Another to the BCM which is up under the dash drivers side. Think this is for the horn.
And the last wire goes into the engine bay and attaches to a plug in the ebox under the battery.
This is the worst one to fit but it activates cruise control.
The exact place pins etc. can be found in the links above or I can send you them.
You will need to tick the MFSW box to code it in.
Have you got the correct buttons?
Only T6 buttons will work properly on EURO6 T6’s
They are the ones with CNL on big left button.

Appreciate all you guys help! I know there are a few guides on how to do it but they are all for people with steering wheels that want cruise control to work and i don't want/need that.. I just have the 'normal' buttons.. See pictures.. So i get confused with what wires i do or do not have to install.. I have not installed the 3 wires but i have bought the wire sit from kufatec that will be coming any day.. Also i have one line coded via obdeleven via 09 central electrics.. Also i don't have CNL on my buttons so that could be the problem? Thank you!!

I’m confident that your buttons are not the correct ones for a T6 and won’t work properly or light up red like the rest of your dash.
Sellers know that the buttons of a T6 are sought after for this exact reason and can charge stupid money for them. I found finding the buttons at a reasonable price the hardest part of my upgrade. I ended up buying a whole wheel to just rob the buttons for my custom flat bottom wheel.
I’m also pretty sure that if your van never came with a MFSW fitted as standard you would need to install a cable to power the MFSW. Usually taken from the light switch.
And another cable to the BCM under the dash so your horn will work.
These wires are pretty simple to install. They connect to the big grey plug in your second last picture with the white plastic cover.
If you want I will check back and tell you what pins to add the wires into in this block and also which wire to tap into at the light switch as well as how to get to BCM and which pin needs added there.
Sounds quite complicated but it’s not really.
I can also send you a link to the correct pin wires to buy to do this.
They are a few quid off AliExpress.

Thank you so much for your help! I have seen a thread where you explained it and were taling about pin 9, 10 and 11? Do i also need to wire pin 11 as i don't have CCS on my steering wheel? The wires you are talking about.. I believe are the repair wires? I have bought a set of wires as pictured below.. But i don't think these are the ones you are talking about?

I've also found this on the OBDeleven App which sounds promising.. It's talking about the 2 wires you are also talking about.. And the part numbers of the wiring in the steering wheel and buttons is what i have..

Yes those wires will work. The smaller square silver pin connectors are ones required to slot into the grey plug pins 9,10 and 11 and the BCM.
The larger one is to fit into the plug under the battery to activate cruise control.
Once you get the correct T6 buttons the ccs button will be there and as much as that wire is a pain in the arse to install having ccs is so worth the effort.
I had to redo the wires in the first pic (pins 9,10,11) as the blue connectors prevented the plug from closing properly so I had to move them back.
Second pic is the power wire to tap into at the back of the light switch.
It’s a thin black wire. Ignore the big blue wire it was for an old tracker.
Last pic is the BCM plug after I’ve split it in 2.

This button set up works on my 2015 T6 trendline. But, as you say there are sets around that come from the polo that light up white and they won’t work with a T6 (I had a set of them first off) and sold them on before finally finding the ones that light up red. As you say there’s usually a premium and I had to pay more than i expected.

I don't want CCS on my steering wheel as i have it on my stalk already and i think thats good enough.. so i think i have the correct wheel and i only need to install 2 wires.. The seller told me these were the correct T6 parts.. Not sure what price the steering wheel/buttons normally go for but it wasn't cheap.. I have ordered the repair wires and hope to have them by this friday.. I will install everything and hope for the best :)

The early EURO5 T6’s have different dials. The same as a T5.1 and I believe the polo buttons work on these models. You can’t set the MFD to the big mph on these dials either.
The EURO6 T6’s need buttons from a T6 to work.

Mine has the T6 dials and I’ve got the big MPH displaying in the MFD, @romar I have CCS on the stalk as well. This conversion was an ongoing headache of mine for 3 months, never again!! I’m not with my van at the moment, but will take a shot of wheel when I get it back.

Must be more to do with the earlier EURO5 model rather than dials. Maybe the trendline spec that gave you the later dials ?
It’s a bit of a minefield as I know a member on here with a 2017 EURO5 model with the older dials.
I’m still pretty confident that those polo buttons won’t work on a EURO6 T6
