Ok, so I wasn’t sure if anybody would be interested in my old pickup, but as it has created a bit of interest, I’ll give some more details about what I’ve done to it (modifications) over the ten years of ownership.

There are the obvious modifications that you can see.... wide black steel Tuff Torque wheels with General Grabber tyres, I had the front grill professionally painted satin black in 2015 and that still looks very fresh! The rear glass has been tinted by Global Tint, as well as the sun strip. Wind deflectors and aluminium raised letter number plates.

Now for the mods you can’t see! I upgraded the H4 headlights to Philips LED a few years ago and these are fantastic.... night and day if you’ll excuse the pun! The sidelights, number plate lights, reversing lights and fog lights are all Philips LED. Inside it is hardwired for a Nextbase dashcam (although I have removed the actual dashcam), Sony Bluetooth head unit/radio/CD player.... hands free phone through the speakers. I also upgraded the security with a two stage ‘microwave’ alarm system that allows you to setup and adjust a perimeter alarm around the vehicle!

Under the bonnet it is ‘chipped’ with a tuning module from Chip Express.... this coupled with a upgraded K&N air filter and a fully stainless steel Vortex exhaust makes it a real ‘sleeper’ and a pleasure to drive.... as I’ve said above in a previous post, it really does drive like a good car, but as it’s a truck it’s a lot of fun!

Hopefully you can see by the pictures that I have looked after it, but it is what it is.... a genuine truck that I think is quite unique.... and I guarantee you won’t find another one that looks like this!

Very reluctantly, my truck is now gone.... sold to @killisickconversions :( Good to meet you James.... hope you enjoy it and please take care of it. Just wanted to say thanks to the forum for all the positive comments and likes for my trusty old truck. Thanks especially to @t6blo and @DWS for your interest.

Just me and the T6 now then.... if I get as much satisfaction and trouble free years of motoring as I did with the pickup, I’ll be well chuffed!

Cheers, Matt:thumbsup:
