Front and rear bush recommendations

A complete bush replacement is a possible - Time consuming, but the results are well worth it, as it will feel and handle better, and if lowered we can get the geometry spot on.

Thanks for the tip but I live too far from Bognor Motors and I am not confident in carrying out the changes myself, my usual mechanic friend is currently on holiday too.
I am just really surprised that the whole wishbone needs to be replaced more than anything!
I looked into bush replacement with metalastic bushes and VW wont do it as installing the new ones are time consuming and problematic (new bushes deforming)

In the end I went for Meyle HD bottom arms from Murrays Direct. The Meyle arms have solid rubber bushes ie no voids. They were £107 each incl delivery.

I’ve never had a set of rear tyres last more than 5,000 miles, but since getting Bognor to fit Powerflex adjustable bushes front/rear I’ve got about 8,000 miles on my rears and still 6mm evenly across both tyres.

My Goodyear Cargo Vectors look to be good for 60K miles on the rear? Sounds like you have some serious issues.

My van is pretty low, big wide 20’s etc, seems a pretty common problem on lowered vans especially when there is no factory adjustment of rear camber.

Those bushes will pay for themselves pretty quickly then!
I'd be gutted if I was changing rear tyres every 6 months.

Are the PSB poly bushes any good, price comparison with powerflex they are a lot cheaper and more affordable for me as I need to replace both front and rear bushes

Hi, has anyone used psb bushes before, my t6 has a few worn bushes so I'm looking to replace all of them with poly bushes but powerflex works out quite expensive,I did read in an old VW bus magazine an article where they replaced all the bushes with these on a t6, any advice is appreciated

Very popular in the Landrover world, they are popular in the trialing competition mods as they give more flexibility.

Hi all
I'm having a small dilemma, my front and rear arm bushes need replacing on my t28, it's lowered on springs and on 20"alloys, ideally I want to put it on coilovers when I can afford them, but for now do I fit standard vw bushes or polybush it, who do I use though PSB or POLYBUSH or POWERFLEX obviously Powerflex are the best but come with a cost any advice is much appreciated
Thanks
