Front Parking Camera Retrofit

While "Area View 2" is undergoing serious brain storm I have decided to use my front camera in a slightly less sophisticated way .

More details to follow ...

Looks great as usual @Robert, did you ever do a guide for the front parking camera install? Thanks
Generally speaking this is a very simple mod.

The main trick is to enable camera video input to be displayed on the Infotainment Unit by pressing the PDC activation button on the central console.

Having Highline RVC installation in place this functionality comes by default.

Next step is to introduce a relay on video signal coming from the reversing camera.
The video signal from the reversing camera needs to be connected to relay terminal 87
and relay terminal 30 to the Infotainment Unit video input.
Front camera video output has to be connected to relay terminal 87a and reversing light to relay terminal 86, GND obviously to 85.

Power supply to the front camera has to be fused ignition feed.

Result is that by default the video displayed on the head unit is always from the front camera unless the reversing gear has been engaged.

Front Camera installation itself is very simple.
Just drill a hole(in your own desired location) with a supplied hole saw, push & click the camera in place, run cabling to the dash area and then get it connected as described above.
