Hello, i m writing from italy, i have a caravelle t6.1.... i have replaced double seat with airbag with single seat without airbag and put a resistor to cheat side airbag error (it was only Side Airbag Igniter Resistance Too High error) . Now the airbag error is off due to the resistor but the single seat have no weight sensor so it is like nobody is seating there ... the front dash airbag will still work in case of an accident ?
I was spoking with mechanic that told me that the pressure sensor it is only made to let the belt bip to work. Not to activate the front airbag. Another mechanic told me that the pressure sensor it is also to activate the airbag if you are seating . I don't know how to do.
