Was that just for carrier or include pin, bolt and locking nut?My carrier was £35 on eBay which I thought was expensive for what it is
It included everything. I think it was removed from a van being converted so was new unused.

Are you planning on fitting it under the van? Don’t know if an 18inch wheel will fit?

I’ve just taken out my standard 16” spare wheel and tyre (205/65/16) from under the van and tried to replace it with an 18” Amarok and 235/50/18 tyre. Even with dropping the carrier down to allow for a wider wheel/tyre there was no way it was fitting…. I couldn’t squeeze it on to the drop bolt even at its limit!

@Ads_Essex I don’t know mate, but I definitely couldn’t get it to fit. It might have something to do with the particular tyre…. this one is a Bridgestone Weather Control and does seem to be quite a fat/chunky tyre?
That should fit, but the holding bracket needs to be modified for it to work.
Hello peeps, I have just attempted to fit a steel 17" 135/55/17 spare into the carrier after having dropped the end of the carrier down to it's max setting. It's very tight and the original bolts are too short. I have had to abandon the job until businesses re-open and I can obtain a pair of longer bolts. Whilst I am busy with this task I intend to make the theft of my spare wheel as difficult as possible for the scrotes.

I need to make a 17" wheel fit in the carrier. Iam going to a supplier of bolts and fasteners this week after the bank hol. I intend to identify the thread(it's an odd one) then try and get 2 bolts of sufficient length to fit. I an going to get one longer than the other and make up an anti theft device to defeat the scrotes.
