No if you get the correct wheel its just a straight swap, paddles work great. I had to swap the wiring loom on the back of my air bag but it is very easy and depends on the wheel you get. Theres a few lads done theirs now on here. Have a look at this thread

Talk to me, We do a 12 month lease deal, and you have the option to purchase at the end if you want to. % saving overall would look very healthy compared to that 8% Message me if you want to run some numbers.

Considering getting another T6 van for work and had a chat with these guys, numbers look good and seem like a good outfit to deal with, very friendly and knowledgeable on the transporter range/options etc
They even told me they order comfort dash on most of their stock kombis !

Just thought I'd update this thread. I've now just paid a deposit and look forward to delivery in September. I'll start a new thread with specs shortly.

The main reason (apart from cost) that I didn't go DSG was because I hate auto boxes without paddles as you just don't have enough control. With paddles you have access to gear changes as quickly as a manual even in auto mode

Im pretty sure you have enough control with DSG for what driving a van requires.
