Ghost II installer NW?

Can anyone recommend a good mobile installer, in the NW (Chorley/Preston) for these?

In light of the recent thread about problems with a T6.1 install, even better if your recommendation has done your T6.1 without issues!

I wondered if fitting a T6 ghost II to a T6.1 could cause these sort of issues?

Since a few T6.1s have Ghost II fitted without issues, this doesn't sound right to me............

On another note, what's your last name? Is there two of us?

I know and can recommend. Hes called Tim and his website is trilogyincar.com. A very good auto electrician. If you get in touch with him telll him mark ferris with the t6 recommended you.

Yeah, I can second Trilogy, he fitted my smartrak system.... he came recommended by AJC who had used him for his lambo security and customer T6's... he doesn't usually do mobile though... but worth the trip...

Mines T6 not sure if he's done a 6.1 yet sorry

Well, after contacting Autowatch and going with their recommendation, it's been in all day for fitting and the installer was unable to 'find the wires'. So they are re-assembling it as I type. Christ knows what the plan is now?!?!



This is why I often choose to do jobs like this myself...............

That’s why I tend to do as many jobs as I can @T6Jay.
Ghost is certainly one to be left to the professionals though. Sorry you didn’t get it fitted mate.

Have you found someone else to fit it for you?

I haven't got it back yet (nearly 8pm).

I can see on WeConnect that they are still faffing around with it, doors open/closed, windows up/down, bonnet open/closed, etc.

It's making me worry that they've screwed up and now the something on the van isn't working, as happened to someone else on T6Forum.

AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGG!

Just rang them, they've failed to fit Ghost II, put the van back together ('all back as it was, promise guvner') and now the van won't start. So the AA are there, with laptop now.

Dashboard is saying 'Immobiliser Active' or some such thing.

Van has gone into 'Protection Mode' i think they said.

Anyone got any clues?

Oh FFS @T6Jay, are they sure they haven’t fitted it! Didn’t even know the vans have a protection mode.
