Gloss or Matt black badges?

My question is why do it at all??

Why do anything to the styling? It’s about personalising the vehicle to make it how you want it, if you don’t want to change anything then that’s ok too, horses for courses etc

There doesn’t seem to be much personalizing going on , just fads, if it improves the vehicle performance wise then I get it.
Thats just my take on it and everyone is entitled to do what they want its a free country

I wrapped the chrome trim on the grill mat black and used the same wrap on the badge insert and then put a gloss black badge:

Then on the back I wrapped the insert with grey wrap to match the van and put a gloss black badge

That looks great what wrap did you use please also did you leave them on the van to do this ?

The black is some cheap mat black I’ve bought on eBay years ago and the grey is from a wrapper on here, he sent me an offcut. Took everything off and used a hair dryer to get it on nicely

Could be either but not sitting correct
Did your old badge come off clean haven’t left anything on the backing plate
Have you worked around and pushed it home hard

The old badge came out clean and I tried to push hard by applying homogeneous pressure. I may buy another one just in case, even if I suspect they all come from the same factory

How are people re-attaching the rest badges and lettering please? It appears double sider tape was used originally so something like this?
