If you want to stop a Mars bar melting it’s probably a good idea. How could anybody engineer such a small space with such a big door!?

Hi guys after a bit of research and digging around I've figured out how to plumb in the glovebox 'coolbox'.

Part number 7E0816311C. Number 25 in this Diagram is the pipe you need if you want to connect just the glovebox or the glovebox and the comfort dash wine cooler.
Now take the grommet out of the blower box and push the T junction of the hose into the blower box hole.

If you have the comfort dash you can skip this next step
Take bung you removed and put that in the other end of the T. You don't need N10124501 this is the same as what comes off the blower box.

If you don't want to cool the glovebox but want to cool the wine cooler in the comfort dash get 7E0816311B fit that in the blower box hole and connect the other end to 7E6820717

I hope that clears up how to fit the coolerbox

Yes I have fitted the valve in the glovebox it's a simple cutout of the marked shape and it clips in, as I don't have the centre console (and can't due to double passenger seat) I have closed the other open end of the pipe
Do you have a part number for the on/off valve? Having real trouble getting a number from VW. thanks.

Has anybody tried/managed this on a T6.1 and know whether the parts are the same?
