Glow plug flashing, start stop error, P003E(B8) error code.

I’ve got a new error on the van and wondering if anyone else has managed to sort this.

Glow plug light flashes and ‘start stop error’ message on the dash. Seems to come on once I get over about 2.8k revs so quite early on in a drive then the light stays flashing (although if I turn the engine off and back in again the light stays off). I tried clearing the error with an OBD and it comes back.

Van drives fine with no symptoms other than a flashing light on the dash.

Error code details:

P003E(B8) [0x003EB8]
Intake camshaft profile control A, bank 2 - performance problem or stuck off
Status: Test failed, Test failed (current drive cycle), Pending, Test failed since last DTC clear, Warning indicator requested

Any ideas?

Update: Carista is giving a different code to the other OBD (Euro Car Parts) reader. Carista reckons it is P164B00 oil pressure switch malfunction.

Could be the oil pressure limiter switch - releases oil pressure when it gets too high at the higher revs, especially when cold.
