I see a lot of aftermarket manufacturer lamps on ebay such as 441-11ADRMREMN2 Right Driver Side OS Offside Headlight Headlamp Twin H7 H15 Depo | eBay - are these inferior to the valeo OEM units, or just rebadged as Valeo (presumably) don't make them anymore ?

Generally not the same quality but those who fitted them seem happy enough.
Don't forget, if they come without bulbs you will need to budget for the full lot.

Don't quite get what you mean.
If you mean the OEM lights, they are 7e2941005 + 7e2941006
Revision from A onwards; you want 'F' or 'G' to get the new-style DRL holders.
RHS here, £60 collected from Folkestone. Probably 'A' revision though. Seller also has LHS but with chipped lens.

That's a different listing. eBay do this annoying thing where they redirect old listings to new ones they think are similar to the original.
So the listing you're viewing there is for a H4 light.
I've attached a screenshot of an A revision H7. I believe the first edition lights don't have a letter at all.
To avoid the melting DRL holder issue, look for an F or G revision.
