Hi all,
I have a halo 11 installed and wondered if this hinders having a ghost immobiliser at all? If not would anyone be able to recommend an installer around the London area?

Thanks

Yeah... again with this... this is three times now I've seen you posting about how to overcome the ghost immobiliser. Ghost is a layer of security that is valid along with having a disklock and motion sensor and a dog... all security can be overcome it's the time vs risk issue with a lot of thieves

Maybe you could give it a rest with your repeat advice to criminals about how to overcome ghost immobilser systems that a lot of us have installed... please? Or maybe send a private message?

Criminals already know how to overcome security features and recode a new key within 30 seconds
Ghost is most over hyped security device, hence why it's not Thatcham approved.

Disklok is the best thing you can use, as your dog ain't living in a van

Yes but they need to know it’s there and then make the time to do it. Most security just buys time. Each layer buys more. When we had issues with our golf R they were not stealthy - it was all about getting the keys and getting away before police could be called. Personally I feel better knowing that if a thief steals the keys the ghost would slow them down.. probably enough to lose their advantage. I’d always layer security now anyway - between a mix of visible and non visible (and importantly - my own early warning systems at home, which tell me they are there before they even have a chance and which I won’t detail here!).

Posts edited - whilst it may well be knowledge to some, we don’t encourage it here - merely posting something akin to “it’s defeatable” would suffice.
Some people are so helpful, so there’s a way to make stealing someone’s property easier, I know I’ll post it on the internet forums, spread the good news around
Posts edited. If anyone wishes to find out exactly how, they can Google it themselves.
