Handbrake lowering kit

Had our sportscraft swivels in for a good few years now and the lowering bracket that was supplied is bent into all sorts of shapes through years of use , also the cover doesn't fit so is in a box somewhere.
The handbrake now points in an odd direction and I'd like to remedy this .
I see thq is offering a heavy duty version but the rest seem to be real flimsy much like what I already have .
Has anyone fitted a heavy duty one and are they any good ?
Did you just trim your existing cover to suit or buy a new modified one ?

Ah hadn't seen them , they do appear to be made of a thicker grade of steel to most of the others

I used the bracket that came with the lowered swivel bases but then machined my own spacer to stop me scraping my knuckles on the seat. Added a little pocket just to make it look less plain

Lol I don't use it for anything at the moment. Thought could stick pound coins in it. Just looked more interesting than a solid block

No the cover doesn't go over my spacer block. Just covers the handbrake and the original mounting bracket.
