Has anyone body coloured the ‘type 3’ gloss black 6.1 splitter? I can’t decide…

I’ve got a Ravenna blue T6.1 Kombi (shown in the photos). I picked up a ‘black Friday’ discount on a gloss black grill set and what I think is the best of the bolt on [couldn't stretch to a bond on / body shop jobbie] splitters.

I’m just worried the all gloss black front could be a bit much (see pic). Although mine has the normal front badge arrangement (I’ve got the chrome and gloss badges to choose from).

Has anyone had this splitter or similar painted? I’m considering having the main part body coloured and the bottom grill part left gloss black.

Anyone care to share theirs or any opinions?

Have the very same setup to go on but will keep it black. I dont know how good the splitter will look in blue but it will get destroyed by stones / road debris in no time unless it's painted to a very high standard. I'll put the money towards a spare one !

I sent it back in the end. Opted for a different style which I’m much happier with
